CDL-A Western Regional Driver

West Metro OKC drivers: open-road miles west of the Mississippi paid training if you are new.

What you earn

• Paid $800 a week in training
• $1000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo
• $1100 to $1200 a week once solo
• 2100 to 2400 miles a week
• $15 per stop except the first and last
• Weekly direct deposit

Your week

Western lanes long lengths of haul drop and hook and live freight. Home every two to three weeks.

New CDL Here is the path

• Call: we check your license and record with you first. No surprises later.
• Orientation: up to 2 days hotel covered bus fare reimbursed $300 once hired.
• Training: 4 to 6 weeks one-on-one with a mentor paid $800 a week.
• Solo: your own assigned truck fleet average about 1.5 years old. For your first 3 months solo your pay will not drop below $1000 a week.

Nervous about your first driving job Fair.

• How often will I see home Every two to three weeks.
• Will one ticket disqualify me Not by itself. Up to 2 moving violations in the past 2 years is accepted.
• What if I have a problem on the road Loads are planned for you and your driver leader picks up the phone.
• Does my CDL school count If it was 120 hours or more yes.
• What if my first solo weeks are slow You still get at least $1000 a week for your first 3 months solo.

To qualify

You must be 21 or older with a Class A CDL. New drivers need at least 120 hours from a CDL school; otherwise 6 months of recent experience. We accept up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years and no DUI/DWI in the last 10. You will also pass a DOT physical and a hair and urine drug test.

Once you pass 30 days
