Responsibilities Processing freight Assisting with price changes/markdowns Balancing the register according to company policy Calling out prices for customers when ringing a transaction Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer’s transaction Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and according to company policy Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned Providing proper customer service, including greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing in customers in a timely manner, thanking customers, and inviting them to return Following all safety procedures Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag Assisting management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock level Assisting management with tasks requested per company policy Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty, and following all current operational policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages Seniority level Entry level Employment type Part-time Job function Sales and Business Development Industries Retail Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Citi Trends by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
