Description Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory assessmentsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other specialized testsfollowing established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results for precision, navigate troubleshooting scenarios, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Record all laboratory procedures meticulously, train newcomers or interns, and maintain stringent quality standards throughout the lab.
• Ensure a tidy and secure workplace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification readiness.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within the first year of employment.
