Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to deliver expert care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in trauma and emergency care, maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor critically ill patients, accurately recording vital signs and clinical data.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including code blue responses and rapid response calls.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously in electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Registered Nurse license required.
• At least 5 years of RN experience with minimum 3 years in ICU/CCU.
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Must have own reliable transportation and a minimum of 1-year travel experience.
