Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Provides primary care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with providers.

Education and Requirements

Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program

Current license as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensed by the State of Missouri

BLS Certification

ACLS Certification (required in specialty areas)

Three years experience as a family nurse practitioner preferred. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment

Knowledge of medical terminology and examination, diagnostics and treatment room procedures

Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public

Ability to maintain quality control standards and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations

Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions

Current BLS certification and required licenses

Ability to learn and efficiently utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs
