Knowledge and experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results. Ability to determine eligibility for special education services and develop recommendations that support student success. Strong written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to consult with school personnel regarding academic, behavioral, social‑emotional, and mental health interventions. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary special education team. Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services. Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports. Participate in eligibility, IEP, Section 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success. Provide consultation regarding behavioral, academic, and social‑emotional interventions. Assist with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and crisis response as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all federal, state, district, and professional standards. Support positive learning environments through data‑driven recommendations and collaborative problem‑solving. Education Qualifications Specialist (Ed.S.), Master's plus Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. License & Certification Qualifications Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification in School Psychology (or eligibility for certification).
