Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Job Description This position is responsible for operating CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish stone materials such as granite, quartz, and marble according to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication setting and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines to cut and shape stone materials based on shop drawings and specifications. Load, unload, and position stone slabs safely using lifting equipment or team assistance. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and job tickets. Set up tooling, measure materials, and input correct machine parameters. Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality output. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with production team members, fabricators, and supervisors to meet deadlines. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines. Essential Skills Experience with CNC machine operation, particularly in stone, wood, or metal fabrication. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings. Basic knowledge of CNC programming, including G-code or machine interface. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and levels. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous CNC machine operation experience is preferred. Basic CNC programming knowledge is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a shop environment equipped with CNC machines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
