Product Development Assistant

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a hardworking and passionate Product Development Assistant to join our team for the Tous Les Jour collection. The ideal candidate is a team player who is curious, eager to learn and has a strong interest in the fashion industry. The assistant will gain hands‑on experience being part of the full product life cycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Product Development Associate Manager in managing the development of all product categories in regards to the Tous Les Jour collection Collaborate and communicate with all cross‑functional teams throughout the development process Create and maintain sample tracking status for all development including PR duplicates and late add requests Daily communication with suppliers and manufacturing partners Develop and improve processes to standardize and streamline the development and testing process Process all data entry into our PLM system, including style and BOM set‑up, upload of sketches and updating line sheets Work closely with Fabric Team and Trim Buyer to ensure all material delivery is aligned with sample schedule Create outgoing packages and receive incoming packages. Daily tracking of all incoming packages and help organize and log in all received samples Responsible for ordering of all standard trims and linings and supplying all necessary details (standards for colors, finishing, etc) to factories. Request cost sheets from our partners and enter them into the PLM system Review all style components for quality and performance. Request color/quality approvals from Design team

YOUR PROFILE

BA/BS degree or equivalent life experience. 0–2 years experience in the fashion industry. Specific focus in Product Development experience is a plus. Self‑motivated, a quick learner with the ability to work independently Team player mentality with willingness to get things done Proactive, extremely organized, detail oriented, can think on their feet, and has a sense of urgency Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly. Proficiency in Excel is a plus. Ability to learn in a fast‑paced environment, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities The candidate should have knowledge of the e‑commerce landscape and be familiar with competing brands in the market Must have clear understanding of the Cinq a Sept brand and aesthetic Familiarity with garment construction, textiles, and color theory #J-18808-Ljbffr Cinq à Sept
