Job Description Summary Under general supervision of a licensed provider, as a Lab Collector, one must be able to effectively collect urine and swab samples from patients in a timely manner and perform clinical duties. We are seeking motivated individuals who show excellent communication skills, can problem-solve and multitask in a fast-paced practice, and gain skill and knowledge of organization policies and procedures in support of the department. This job is a full-time, benefited position at Summit Spine & Joint Centers that reports to the Director of Operations. The position’s primary location will be for Southern Pines, NC and subject to change based on coverage/business needs, and operating hours. Hours: Monday - Friday; Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Responsibilities Collect and package urine samples and/or cheek swab samples from patients for subsequent drug screen analysis Effectively process messages between patients and administration or other medical offices Report to office manager and/or practice administrator Must be willing to travel to all region locations Must be responsive and comfortable handling and processing urine samples Must be able to conduct cheek swabs Detail-oriented Previous clinical experience Willingness to cross-train on all other clinical responsibilities Education and Experience (Preferred Qualifications) Experience using eClinicalWorks or other EHR system preferred 1-year clinical experience preferred Associate's Degree or higher preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
