Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Mechanical Assembler in Macon, GA. In this hands‑on, fast‑paced role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, assisting with equipment preparation, and supporting shop operations in a team‑oriented environment. Responsibilities Using hand tools to assemble and install mechanical components Assisting with equipment preparation and basic shop tasks in a shop environment Following work instructions and safety procedures to complete tasks efficiently Maintaining a clean and organized work area while supporting technicians and team members Qualifications Must be mechanically inclined Experience using basic hand tools Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment Must pass a background check and drug screen Benefits Healthcare, vision and dental benefits Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Pay: $18.00 per hour Opportunity to gain hands‑on mechanical experience with a reputable company EOE #J-18808-Ljbffr
