House Supervisor (RN)

Location: El Cajon, CA

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Day (must be flexible with hours as needed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing operations across the unit to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Lead and mentor clinical staff, providing guidance and support to direct reports
• Assess and triage patient care needs, making timely decisions and escalating when necessary
• Coordinate staffing, admissions, transfers, and resource allocation to maintain smooth operations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and improve patient flow
• Ensure compliance with policies, protocols, and regulatory standards while promoting best practices

Qualifications

• Active California RN License (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience as an RN with direct reports and/or unit oversight (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare-related field preferred
• Flexible availability to accommodate changing unit needs

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
• Proven leadership and staff supervision abilities
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with clinical workflows and commitment to patient safety
