Job Summary:
A Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Berlin, Wisconsin. This role involves providing care in a long-term care and rehabilitation unit, with a focus on wound care, following physician orders, and performing procedures such as PIV insertions and blood draws. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Berlin, WI
• Schedule: 12-hour days, 36 hours guaranteed per week, contract length of 12 weeks, starting ASAP.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nursing (RN) license, Associate Degree or Certificate, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2+ years of recent long-term care experience (post-acute & long-term care), charting experience preferred (Epic preferred, Pyxis highly preferred).
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience strongly preferred; EMR experience with Epic highly preferred and Pyxis highly preferred; wound care experience and ability to follow physician orders; experience with PIV insertion and blood draws.
• Additional Information:
  • Shift requirements include every other weekend rotation and holiday rotation as needed.
  • Ability to float to Peabody Manor (40 miles).
  • No on-call or callback requirements.
  • Orientation: 5 days total (1 day onboarding, 4 shifts with preceptor).
  • Billing occurs from Sunday to Saturday; the initial orientation is unbillable and lasts 8 hours daily.
  • Interview days are Monday through Friday via MSP interview mode.
