Job Details Location: Spokane, Washington (99204) — a welcoming area for your next assignment Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery / high-acuity women’s services Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: October 5, 2026 End Date: January 4, 2027 Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Shifts Per Week: 4 Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260 - $2,380 Schedule: Block scheduling Charting System: Epic On-Site: Yes Float Requirement: May float to Mother/Baby or other functional areas within the facility Weekend Coverage: Some weekend shifts required Orientation: 12 hours Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license must be in hand at submission Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Experience with high-risk labor and delivery, antepartum care, and maternal emergencies preferred Current certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, and NRP Epic electronic medical record experience required Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity obstetric environment Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills Ability to care for patients with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, VBAC/TOLAC, multiples, and induction/augmentation needs Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Assist with inductions, augmentations, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and maternal emergencies Support high-risk obstetric patients including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, VBAC/TOLAC, and multiple gestations Administer medications, manage IV therapy, blood products, and related interventions as indicated Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to support excellent patient outcomes Document accurately in Epic and maintain high standards of charting compliance Educate and support patients and families throughout the Labor & Delivery experience Apply now to join this Spokane, Washington Labor & Delivery travel nursing opportunity and advance your career in women’s health.
