Tax Director - National Tax Office

- Research and analyze various federal income tax issues in connection with but not limited to: accounting methods, operating partnerships, LLCs and more
- Assist with M&A tax structuring, and internal restructuring
- Draft emails and memos
- Draft Firm-wide alerts on current developments
- Assist with Firm-wide trainings
Requirements
- JD or LL.M (Tax)
- 20+ years of progressive federal income tax consulting experience dealing with either: National Tax Office work, accounting methods, or operating partnerships
- Strong experience with various substantive accounting methods, LLC and partnership tax issues, including allocations, liabilities, capital shifts, continuations, divisions, and profits interests.
- Experience working at a large accounting firm
- CPA
- LL.M
- Strong proficiency with Excel
- Strong proficiency with tax research databases (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint)
