What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement solutions for complex metering and technical issues.
Prepare and review engineering designs, studies, cost estimates, and technical analyses to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Support large‑scale metering projects involving utilities, renewable energy, distributed energy resources, and major customers.
Coordinate with customers, management, and internal teams to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet technical requirements.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and field teams, including support for testing and calibration programs.
Investigate and resolve metering and billing issues while helping improve long‑term operational strategies.
Work with industry groups, regulatory agencies, and external partners to address technical and compliance challenges.
Manage engineering projects, consultants, feasibility studies, schedules, budgets, and resource planning as needed.
Monitor project performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and maintain compliance.
Stay current on metering technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to support continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related applied science discipline from an ABET‑accredited or recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of engineering‑related experience.
What Sets You Apart:
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of engineering codes, standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
Experience in the utility industry.
Nuclear industry experience (preferred for Palo Verde roles).
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Ability to manage complex technical projects and collaborate across teams.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
