CT TechnologistJob Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Alternate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 AM - 7:30 PM, 8 AM - 8:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 9 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have: - ARRT certification required (CT preferred) - BLS certification must be AHA - WV license is required Description: Unit notes indicate that all areas for both adults and pediatrics are included, but Interventional Radiology only covers adults. Radiology Department is managed by a supervisor and director/manager with no lead tech in any area. Travelers will not work weekends or holidays. No call is required. Black scrubs are required for all techs in all modalities. In-house radiologist is available from 7 AM to 7 PM; on-call from 7 PM to 7 AM. Travelers must be able to start IVs. There are generally 2 CT techs for inpatient and 1 for outpatient services. Floor-specific orientation will depend on modality, typically up to 2 weeks; US/MRI may take longer. Common imaging studies performed include any CT exams. Cancellation policy allows the client to cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments shorter than 13 weeks. Charting system used is EPIC. This position does not require a BSN. License to submit is required. The trauma level and care setting are classified as acute.
