Worker TypeRegularJob DescriptionSummaryThe Senior Data Analytics Engineer role will be critical in developing and enhancing our Oracle-based data warehouse infrastructure to support enterprise-wide Power BI analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical data engineering and business intelligence, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.Position ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize Oracle data warehouse schemas, tables, and structures to support business intelligence requirementsBuild and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into the enterprise data warehouseDevelop complex Power BI solutions including dashboards and semantic modelsPerform SQL development for data manipulation, QA, and analysisDesign and document data models that balance performance, maintainability, scalability, and business requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and system integration challengesStay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data warehousing and business intelligenceBasic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analysis, or related discipline7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle database development and data warehousing7+ years of advanced SQL experience including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization5+ years of Power BI development experience creating dashboards, semantic models (with DAX calculations and Power Query)7+ years of ETL/ELT pipeline development and data integration experience7+ years working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing both technical insights and strategic directionDemonstrated experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments with exposure to supply chain, finance, shipments, and manufacturing shop floor operationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and qualityExcellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersProven track record of delivering data solutions that drive business valueOther Qualifications & Desired CompetenciesMaster's degree in a related fieldExperience with modern data stack tools and technologiesKnowledge of data governance frameworks and practicesCertification in Power BI or Oracle technologiesExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesPhysical DemandsAbility to work in an office environment (Constant)Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)Clearance LevelNo ClearanceThe salary range for this role is:$100,500 - $153,250AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.ITAR Requirement:This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
