Requisition ID 64991 Position Type (US) Full Time Where you'll work Our Lakeland, FL location is part of our beverage division and specializes in distillation and flavor products for Kerry customers and brands. We are looking for someone to help us keep things running! What you'll do You’ll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Important areas of operations you’ll work on (but are not limited to) Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep What you'll need to be successful in this role Minimum 3 years or more of maintenance experience working in a manufacturing environment; food/beverage experience highly preferred High school diploma or GED is required; college degree preferred Must be knowledgeable in operating and maintaining air compressors and air dryers Must be able to install production equipment Must be knowledgeable in the operating principles of steam, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and able to troubleshoot and repair their mechanical components Must be able to read piping diagrams and identify the function of various components for air and water distribution systems Must be able to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs PLC experience is highly preferred Compensation The typical hiring range for this role is $30.00 per hour.
