Conversion - Warehouse Associate Lead

Position Summary Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within the warehouse by performing the following duties. Responsibilities Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or convey orders to packing station or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information such as labels. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Arrange product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Lead a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation, motivating and directing team efforts. Inform the department supervisor of problems or potential problems requiring immediate attention. Qualifications Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment. Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Experience in warehouse operations and material handling preferred.
