Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:Manage general ledger accounting activities and support the month-end close process

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations

Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements

Review financial information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed

Work collaboratively with other departments to gather and analyze financial information

Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3+ years of progressive accounting experience

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and U.S. GAAP

Experience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Preferred: Manufacturing accounting experience, including inventory or standard costing

ERP system & B&L Odyssey

CPA, CMA, advanced degree, or progress toward professional certification

Crystal Reports, reporting tools, budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis
