PCA/PCT Burn ICU Full Time Nights

Patient Care Associate/Patient Care Technician Position Details: $1,500 sign‑on bonus for full‑time UAP Position. Department: Burn ICU 7H. Hours/Shift: Full Time / Nights. Overview Under the direction of the RN or LPN, you assist in individualized care of the patient to achieve the patient’s highest level of wellness. You work cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognize the importance of group goals. Responsibilities Patient Care Associate (PCA): Obtain vital signs and document in the electronic medical records system. Assist with patient care needs including meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, mobility, and transport. Perform clerical support duties as needed. Patient Care Technician (PCT): All PCA responsibilities. Phlebotomy/blood cultures. Enteral feeding. Wound care. IV/Foley removal. Trach care/suctioning. Training Our Patient Care Associate training program is an accredited Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program. It includes a 175‑hour training program that meets Department of Health and Senior Services requirements. Training is part of the new hire orientation process and must be completed within 90 days of hire to remain in the PCA position per state guidelines. Qualifications Education: High school diploma, G.E.D., CNA/CPTC, or enrollment in a healthcare career program through high school curriculum. Experience: None required. Physical Requirements: Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly. Prolonged standing and walking each shift. Grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
