Associate, EVS EventVisitorServices (EVS) is the functional area, within the Organizing Committee for the LA28 Summer Games (Olympics and Paralympics), that oversees the planning, design, and provision of safe and welcoming visits to all ticketed events at official competition venues, as well as other services for accredited stakeholders. The EventVisitorServices Coordinator is a well organised and detailed oriented administrator responsible for helping to support the FA’s overall efficiency by helping to keep all logistical, operational, and communication needs running smoothly. They will directly report to and assist the EVS Director with administrative tasks, while coordinating with the operational and workforce teams. This role is integral to guarantee the smooth delivery of EVS mandate come Games Time. Key Responsibilities Schedule, coordinate, and organize logistics for EVS meetings, including booking rooms, sending calendar invites, and tracking RSVP lists. Act as a daily communication link between EVS and other FAs, relaying updates, routing inquiries, and helping coordinate shared tasks. Support open communication flow by regularly distributing updates and sharing relevant information between the EVS team and other departments. Assist in drafting, formatting, and proofreading EVS presentations, templates, and daily operational documents. Perform routine administrative duties for the EVS team, such as organizing files, updating trackers, and taking meeting minutes as requested. Background and Requirements High school diploma preferred. Takes accountability and ownership of tasks and problems. Ability to collaborate effectively with other Functional Areas to ensure delivery of a suitable training program. Considers the impact of decisions on our Games Time workforce. Generates ideas to improve processes and create efficiencies. Maintains a professional manner when dealing with paid staff and volunteers. Able to adapt communication style and approach. Communicates clearly and concisely. Manages numerous tasks with a high level of detail at the same time. Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines. Strong written and oral communication skills. Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office. The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment. The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment. Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods. Expectations Attention to details. Technological proficiency (MS Office Suite). The pay scale provides the range that LA28 reasonably expect to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law. LA28 does not provide relocation assistance.
