DMS Instructor $80,000–$90,000 per year | Temecula, CA | On‑site | Permanent Sonography Education Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Permanent DMS Instructor to join our dynamic team in the Accounting + Finance industry. This exciting role involves teaching and guiding students in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) with a focus on Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBGYN). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in clinical practice, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience. Although an Associate's degree is preferred, we welcome candidates who are passionate about transitioning into education and possess the necessary certifications such as RDMS Sonographer Cert – OBGYN, AB. Responsibilities Developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans for DMS courses, particularly focusing on OBGYN. Providing instruction in both theoretical concepts and practical applications in DMS. Guiding and mentoring students to ensure their success in their academic and career goals. Assessing student performance, giving feedback, and implementing necessary interventions to enhance learning outcomes. Staying abreast of the latest developments in the DMS field and updating curriculum as necessary. Collaborating with other faculty members to enhance the overall learning experience of the students. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in the Accounting + Finance industry. RDMS Sonographer Certification – Will accept OBGYN, AB. Minimum 2 years of clinical practice experience, preferably within the last 2 years. Associate's degree or higher in a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not necessary. Strong communication skills, warm personality, and ability to remain composed in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a manner that is easy for students to understand. Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students.
