Physical Therapist

Therapy Services at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN is seeking a full-time physical therapist for day shifts. The physical therapist will organize and carry out physical therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients to facilitate rehabilitation for the mentally or physically handicapped. The staff physical therapist will provide direct patient focused care, including physical therapy evaluations and quality treatment with short and long term goals determined by the patient's needs. All physical therapists are required to have competency for adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Therapists working with children or infants less than 13 years will require specific training and competencies demonstrated prior to working with pediatrics. The staff physical therapist will also assist the director of the department in the supervision of support staff, quality assurance, and improvement activities, and the overall operation of the rehabilitation department. Other duties as assigned.

Education: B.S., M.S., or Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited program required. TN Physical Therapist license required.

Experience: Experience preferred but new graduates are acceptable.
