As a Security Officer Patrol Access Monitor in Sterling, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. You will also support access control and interact professionally with employees and visitors, delivering strong customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and note unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with location procedures.
Support facility operations by communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters that may impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
