Melben is recruiting one Welder / Fabricator for a manufacturer in Columbiana, OH. This is a full-time, direct-hire position on the employer's payroll, working first shift. The employer is flexible on the start date.

The role centers on cutting, fitting and welding metal parts and assemblies to drawings and measurements. You will work from layout and blueprints, set up pieces for welding, and check your work against the specified dimensions before it moves on. Pay is $17 to $21 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate metal parts and assemblies to drawings
• Read blueprints and layout measurements
• Cut, fit and tack components before final welding

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Experience welding and fabricating metal
• Ability to read basic blueprints
• Ability to work safely on the shop floor
