Neurosurgery APRN/PA (APP III)

Position

Lee Physician Group Neurosurgery is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (AGAC-NP or PA) to join a busy and growing practice. The role involves outpatient and inpatient neurosurgery and assisting in surgery. This is a full-time position for trauma neurosurgery, with Monday–Friday schedule and a weekend call rotation every 9 weeks. The ideal candidate will have a surgical background; surgical rotations during clinicals are acceptable. Lee Health uses EPIC EHR and dictation software in both settings. This position requires a strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurological diseases, and neurosurgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient neurosurgical care as part of the neurosurgery team.
• Assist in neurosurgical procedures.
• Cover trauma neurosurgery on a rotating schedule; participate in weekend call every 9 weeks.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff, with documentation in EPIC EHR.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider (AGAC-NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a surgical background; surgical rotations during clinicals are acceptable.
• Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurological diseases, and neurosurgical procedures.
• Experience with EPIC EHR and dictation software preferred.
