Coverage Needed

Start Date: August 10, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm, one to two weeks per month
Open Dates: August 10-14, December 21-24, and December 28-29; ongoing need
Call Schedule: Weekend call Friday 5:30pm through Monday 7:30am

Clinical Details

EMR System: Epic
Patients Per Day: 16 office patients per day (mix of new and follow-up)
Support Staff: PSRs, CMAs, RNs, 9 - 4 General Cardiologists; 1 CV Surgeon; 2 Interventional Cardiologists; 1 Electrophysiologist; 1 Pediatric Cardiologist; 3 APP's
Trauma Level: Level 2
Required Procedures: Cardiac catheterizations, PTCA, TEE, cardioversion, stress testing, echo interpretation
Patient Population Mix: Adult Cardiology; 65% Medicare Population
Average Number of Cases per day: 1-4 cath lab procedures

Requirements

Board: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
Licenses: Active Illinois MD/DO license; active Illinois CS/DEA license
Clean and easy-to-credential candidates - Highly Preferred
