Senior Staff Accountant

Senior Staff Accountant
Compensation up to $105,000 depending on skills and experience
Onsite 5 days a week, local candidates only please

Overview
Responsible for financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, and investment portfolio accounting. Works closely with the CFO and supports payroll, audits, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and monthly close
• Maintain consolidated financial records
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Manage securities portfolio and related reporting
• Prepare regulatory filings and support audits
• Oversee payroll and review benefit billings
• Assist with budgeting and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA preferred
• 5 plus years of accounting experience with GAAP knowledge
• Banking and securities accounting experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills

• Detail oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and decision making skills
• Ability to handle confidential information and work independently
