Location: Baytown, TX 77523Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment to minimize downtime and support efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
- Respond quickly to production equipment breakdowns
- Install, modify, and test manufacturing equipment
- Maintain maintenance logs and repair documentation
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Assist with facility maintenance and improvement projects
- Support machine setup and production changeovers
- Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
- Previous industrial maintenance experience required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and automated systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of PLCs is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
- Technical certification preferred but not required
