Job Summary: The Production Planner will be responsible for planning the production of aerospace components, assemblies, and systems. The preferred candidate is a highly motivated, results-oriented team player who performs effectively in both business planning and production environments.

Job Responsibilities: Generating, monitoring, and expediting production schedules; Coordinating supply chain, inventory, and production activity; Vetting MRP-generated production orders; Identifying and mitigating production order material shortages/challenges; Planning production routing, sequencing, and methods; Executing planned production orders; Managing production order revisions; Preparing, evaluating and disseminating metrics, reports, procedures, and documents; Prepare data reviews and present findings; Present and lead weekly GEMBA meetings; Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field; Relative production planning or relative experience preferred. Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; Professional interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and balance competing priorities; Strong analytical, reasoning and organizational skills; Ability to problem solve in complex and ambiguous situations; Experience working with MS Office suite; Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, parts lists, bill-of-materials (BOM) and production routings; Fundamental knowledge of aircraft, systems and parts preferred.
