Cardiac Sonographer II

Position Summary Relationship: Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 for eligible candidates A Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer is a credentialed medical professional with clinical experience in imaging technology to aid physicians in diagnosing heart problems. They operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2‑D or 3‑D images of the heart and its chambers. The scope of practice includes procedures and processes permitted by law for which the individual has received education, clinical experience and completed ARDMS‑RDCS and/or RVT or CCI‑RCS registration, which is the standard practice in Ultrasound. Minimum Requirements High school or equivalent (or higher) Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current ARDMS (RDCS or RVT) or CCI (RSC) registration/certification 2 years of experience as Cardiac and/or Vascular Sonographer Clinical Ladder and Shift Information Primary Shift: Day 5 days per week 8:00 am – 4:00 pm On Call: No Weekends: No IMPORTANT: This position is listed as a Cardiac Sonographer II, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a Cardiac Sonographer I, II, III or IV.
