Make a meaningful impact supporting students across diverse learning needs in this dynamic contract opportunity for experienced school-based Occupational Therapists. Two full-time positions are available: one for the full school year and one covering a maternity leave (anticipated start in August with an end in March). Both roles involve working with K-12 students with a range of mild to severe disabilities, providing occupational therapy services in a flexible, field-based, and mostly independent capacity.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

• Current, active California Occupational Therapy license
• Prior California schools-based OT experience required
• Proficiency in administering the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for students ages 3–22, including students with multiple disabilities
• Comfort managing fluctuating caseloads with no strict cap on student numbers; must be adaptable as assessments and consult needs change
• Strong data-driven approach to building recommendations, supporting IEP services, and effectively addressing parent concerns
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable creating individualized schedules to meet district needs; must excel working independently in an itinerant model
• Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments, direct services, and consultations for students across various school sites
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support educational goals
• Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and IEP teams, using assessment data to advocate for necessary services
• Conduct ongoing progress monitoring, documentation, and required reporting according to district and state guidelines
