Description


Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Medical/Medical stipend, Dental Vision, benefit time, 401K, Tuition reimbursement.

Schedule M-F 830a-430p. Some weekends.

• Processes data entry of daily donations/memorials. Generates appropriate responses/letters to donors in a timely manner.
• Assists with fundraising events, including mailings, fulfillments, registration and solicitation as called upon.
• Assists with Marketing dept. materials and business equipment.
• Performs filing as assigned or as needed.
• Runs monthly donor/fundraising reports when requested.
• Provides back-up for Receptionist as needed.
• Participates in all required in service education programs and meetings.
• Demonstrates a commitment to own work schedule by adhering to attendance standards. Provides proper notification in advance for absence and tardiness.
• Adheres to employment policies in accordance with the Employee Handbook
• Demonstrates compliance with the dress code policy by appearing well groomed, wearing ID badge while on duty and maintaining a professional appearance.

Performs other duties as assigned within the Marketing Department.

Position Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of administrative office procedures, including letter composition, the completion of forms, and file maintenance.
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, vendors, and the public via telephone and in person.
• Ability to comprehend the spoken and written English language, to communicate with clarity both verbally and in writing.
• Well organized to manage workflow, documentation, file maintenance and recordkeeping
• Proficiency in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.

Education and Experience:

Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education: Some college or business school

Required Experience: One year of business office experience in a similar administrative support role

Preferred Experience: Experience working in marketing and/or events
