Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
• Recent experience in an inpatient, acute care, or hospital setting preferred
• Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts, various days, and rotating weekends
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical and laboratory environment

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for inpatient populations
• Accurately label, handle, and transport specimens according to hospital protocols
• Verify patient identity and follow proper collection procedures
• Maintain a high standard of patient care and professionalism during all interactions
• Collaborate with nursing, laboratory, and clinical staff to support timely testing and workflow
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance guidelines
• Document collection activity and maintain accurate records as required
