Details Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting Night shift schedule 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week 13-week assignment length Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association) Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification required Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience required Additional Information Provide nursing care to a variety of L&D patients ranging from simple to complex cases Assist physicians with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments Administer medications and initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products Communicate care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge Delegate tasks to support staff as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration Strict compliance deadlines are enforced, and onboarding documentation must be completed promptly Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer due to compliance requirements Extensions are limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-737873.
