As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, a typical day might include the following: Providing comprehensive clinical assessments, crisis interventions, and evaluations for hospitalization for children, adolescents, and their families residing in Monmouth County. Coordinating critical crisis services and safe patient dispositions within the framework of the Children's Crisis Intervention Services (CCIS) system. Prioritizing preventive outreach to the community as a strategic effort to divert minors from emergency room visits. Delivering direct education to the community through engaging in-person and virtual presentations. Representing the department and program effectively at designated county meetings. Formulating safe, collaborative care plans by consulting with family members, medical personnel, and community resources. Completing thorough, accurate clinical and state legal documentation in a timely manner. You believe that true healing begins with meeting young patients where they are during their most vulnerable moments. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have: Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required. Two (2) years of prior experience and/or training working with children, adolescents, and families in a mental health setting required. Demonstrated experience and/or training in crisis intervention and psychiatric assessment. Proven experience with public speaking and community presentations. Eligible to obtain a Screening Certification Number upon hire. Must possess and maintain a valid N.J. State Driver’s License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within three (3) months of hire. Schedule: Full-Time, Evening Shift (40 hours per week). Flexible shift hours working 4 days per week.
