Veterinary Technician

Good Shepherd Animal Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our clinic, led by Dr. Julia Skains, specializes in providing care for cats and dogs.

Job Expectations:

• Perform anesthesia monitoring during surgical procedures
• Utilize your skills as a Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician
• Conduct dental prophylaxis and preventive care for our animal patients
• Be Fear Free Certified to ensure the comfort of our patients
• Assist with catheterization, anesthesia, ultrasound, venipuncture, and surgery
• Administer medications and perform lab work, X-rays, and vital sign monitoring
• Handle wellness exams, medical records, diagnostics, and scheduling appointments
• Provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $28,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
