Job Description

Job Summary:

The CT/X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, including CT scans and traditional X-rays, ensuring high-quality images that meet clinical standards and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Operate fixed and portable X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images for emergent and routine cases.
Conduct CT scans, adjusting exposure and patient positioning to optimize image quality.
Minimize radiation exposure by properly setting up equipment and adjusting tables and radiation beams.
Process and archive images using PACS systems, and ensure exams are completed according to radiologist protocols.
Assist with patient preparation, including contrast media administration for CT procedures.
Maintain equipment, safety standards, and uphold quality control measures related to radiation and patient safety.

Qualifications:

Hold an R.T.(R)(ARRT) credential.
Possess at least 1 year of experience as a CT technologist preferred.
Demonstrate proficiency in radiographic procedures, radiation physics, and human anatomy.
Exhibit strong patient care and communication skills.
Able to work flexible hours, including call rotates and weekends if required.
