Description: This is a state-of-the-art facility. The hospital has a variety of beds, including medical/surgical, acute rehabilitation, intensive care, and a labor, delivery, and postpartum unit. The emergency department is open 24/7. The surgery department includes multiple operating rooms and advanced cardiac catheterization facilities. Diagnostic imaging offers a wide range of digital modalities for outpatient and inpatient testing. All imaging is supported by a Picture Archival Communication system that enables efficient access to and management of digital images. The unit has 9 beds with variable patient ratios depending on acuity. Equipment available includes IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, and syringe pumps. The electronic health record system used is Med Host and Centricity. Supervision is provided by an experienced nursing leader. The patient population includes laboring patients, postpartum patients, and neonates. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, as weekend work will be required every other weekend. Experience with labor, postpartum, and newborn stabilization is essential. Preference will be given to those with prior experience using Centricity. A strong team player mindset is important for this role.
