Production Control/Supply Chain Manager

We are currently searching for a Production Control/Supply Chain Manager for our Calvert location. Essential Functions Supervise and manage logistics personnel, including warehouse staff. Responsible for the planning and execution of inbound and outbound shipments. Maintain appropriate inventory levels to ensure availability to operations. Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Assure direct staff’s adherence to Company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of inventory activities including shipping and receiving. Responsible for training, hiring, firing, performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff. Responsible for the timely identification and resolution of inventory and supply chain issues. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, EH&S, QMS and finance) to align purchasing and warehouse operations with business needs. Manage relationships with third‑party logistics providers and transportation companies. Prepare reports and present performance metrics to management. Ensure regulatory compliance for import/export activities. Monitor KPI’s to determine areas of improvement and drive continuous improvement projects within the department. Minimum Qualifications BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree where required. Minimum of 5 years successful experience in directly related field. Key Competencies Strong understanding of inventory management systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of transportation regulations and warehouse safety standards.
