From gorgeous, wood-beam bed frames to plush, hand-dyed blankets, each of our 142 rooms and suites embraces Vermont's signature style.One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking Restaurant Servers to join the team!Job Summary:The Server will be responsible to provide high-quality service and exceed all our customers' expectations.Job Specifications:Expected Pay Range: Starting $8.21 per hour plus tip pool.Shift & Schedule Availability: Full-time year-roundBreakfast, lunch and dinner shifts are availableWeekends and holidaysJob Responsibilities:Greet guests warmly and ensure a high standard of hospitality from start to finish.Present menus, explain dishes and specials, and offer wine and pairing suggestions.Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions.Perform tableside service when required (e.g., running food).Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly and professionally.Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables, service stations, and dining area.Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.Support team members and contribute to a smooth front-of-house operation.Collect payments from tables.Job Requirements:Three months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort or private club required.Minimum of 18 years of age.Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be passionate about service, and able to multi-task.Must be able to lift & move 50 pounds.Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.We offer great resort privileges, discounts, and free employee meal to all employees.This is a full-time, year-round position offering a competitive benefits package, after an initial waiting period that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage, Employer Paid: Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability, Paid Time Off, 401k Retirement Plan with Employer match.Or success is the direct result of dynamic, dedicated people with a passion for hospitality who enjoy being part of a devoted, hard-working team.
