Claridge House invites you to join our dynamic rehab team as Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant . Our team consists of a blend of PTs and PTAs who are caring, experienced therapists dedicated to making a difference in patients’ lives. .   DUTIES:

Implements treatment programs as established by supervising Physical Therapist.

Communicates patient’s performance and response to treatment to Physical Therapist.

Recommends modifications in treatment program and goals based on patient’s response to treatment.

Maintains timely and accurate patient records.

Cooperate / collaborate with members of the medical treatment staff regarding patient’s treatment and progress.

Demonstrates Customer Service Excellence

Follows all safety rules on the job.

Performs other job duties as assigned.

  REQUIREMENTS:

1. Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant or a physical therapist program..

2. The position requires occasional/ frequent lifting up to 75/100 pounds and carrying of up to 30 pounds; prolonged standing; frequent walking, stooping, and squatting. Fine hand dexterity, eye-hand coordination, the ability to receive oral and written communication, and to communicate verbally and in writing are also necessary.

3. Documentation Skills, Listening, Verbal Communication Skills

4. Current CPR American Heart Association (BLS)

Full time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job requirements; current Florida PTA License.
