We Are Looking for Someone Like You

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our HVAC Service Dispatch team. As the front line of communication with both our customers and internal teams, you will play a critical role in coordinating service requests, dispatching technicians, and ensuring the successful execution of HVAC and plumbing service, maintenance, and project work.

Working alongside experienced technicians and office staff, you will help deliver exceptional customer service while supporting daily operations in a fast-paced mechanical contracting environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with a primary focus on HVAC service dispatch.

Your Day-to-Day at Murphy Company

Customer Service & Phones

• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming service calls from internal and external customers.
• Answer phones professionally and provide exceptional customer service.
• Gather critical information from customers to accurately assess service needs.

Dispatch Coordination

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians based on customer needs, technician skill sets, location, and availability.
• Prioritize reactive service calls while balancing scheduled maintenance and project work.
• Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed.

Communication & Documentation

• Maintain clear communication with technicians, customers, and internal departments.
• Document service requests, work updates, and customer interactions accurately within the Service Management Platform (PENTA).
• Follow up to ensure timely completion of service requests and customer satisfaction.
• Provide administrative support to other service department functions as needed.

Resource Management

• Coordinate manpower and scheduling for preventive maintenance, service projects, and internal company support.
• Assist in balancing workloads and maximizing technician efficiency.

On-Call Support

• Participate in an on-call rotation to assist technicians and customers during after-hours service needs.

• Experience using service management or dispatch software (PENTA experience is a plus).
