Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable supporting patients and surgeons with significant traumatic injuries. Ability to anticipate the needs of instruments, supplies, and equipment. Highly skilled in procedures ranging from basic laparoscopic techniques to complicated open trauma cases. Competent and confident in a fast-paced environment. Description: This is a position for an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in various surgical fields. The facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center providing care to a diverse patient population of all ages. The role involves working in a team-oriented environment with opportunities to support multiple surgical specialties. You will have the chance to work with advanced equipment and diverse cases, contributing to a robust learning experience. The shift involves 4x10 hour days with occasional weekend shifts and call requirements. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams.
