As a full-service civil engineering company in Atlanta, our professionals support projects from early due diligence and site feasibility through design, coordination, and permitting, working closely with teams across Georgia to deliver consistent, high-quality results.Built on the strong foundation and local relationships established by Eberly & Associates, the Atlanta office continues a legacy of service while bringing the expanded capabilities of Pape-Dawson to the region.We are seeking a full-time PE licensed **Project Manager, Site Development** based in our Atlanta office. This position will lead the project design, client communication, permitting, and management on a wide range of commercial development projects. The Project Manager will collaborate in-house with other civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public, private, and mixed-use projects.**Responsibilities*** Lead and actively participate in the design, plan production and permitting for land development projects.* Lead and mentor a group of technical professionals – engineers and technical support- to serve our clients well* Engage in the proposal and client agreement development and execution* Develop trusting professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders* Be respectful of client time-lines through effective coordination of project tasks, budgets and schedules* Champion the professional development of each member of a project team according to each member’s individual goals and career path* Seek guidance from other leaders; be open to suggestions in various aspects of project management* Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations* Additional related duties as needed**Requirements*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.* Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).* 5+ years of experience in site design, planning, and project management* Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices which, by passing on that knowledge to others will aid in your success* Proven ability to effectively and respectfully communicate, both oral and written skills, with all level of employees* There may be times when working overtime is necessary**EEO Statement:**All qualified applicants for Pape-Dawson Engineers will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Pape-Dawson is a leading civil engineering and professional services firm, with a history of delivering award-winning infrastructure and development projects with national impact.
