1 YR Limited Intervention Specialist

Position Type Intervention Specialist Description The district is seeking a qualified Intervention Specialist (PK–5) for a one-year limited contract for the 2026–2027 school year. This position will begin the school year by covering a maternity leave for approximately the first 12 weeks, followed by a transition into a caseload management role serving students across the district's elementary buildings for the remainder of the school year. Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals and objectives Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education requirements Manage and support a caseload of students across multiple elementary buildings following the maternity leave assignment Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring Qualifications Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (PK–5 or equivalent) Knowledge of special education law and best practices Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to work flexibly across multiple elementary settings #J-18808-Ljbffr Butler County Area Application Consortium
