Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring prompt assessment, intervention, and patient safety. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival, collecting relevant health data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments adhering to established protocols.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding conditions and treatments.
• Document patient interactions and care activities accurately in the medical record.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care nursing.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• ACLS certification required.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
