We're looking for a Veterinary Technician who enjoys learning, values teamwork, and wants to be part of a hospital where their skills are appreciated and utilized every day. Whether you're monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgery, or educating clients, you'll play a vital role in helping pets live healthier, happier lives. What Our Veterinary Technicians Do Triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories, vital signs, and patient assessments Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures Provide compassionate nursing care from patient intake through discharge Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs Perform in-house laboratory testing, including CBCs, chemistry panels, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal testing Prepare patients for surgery and dentistry while assisting with anesthesia monitoring and recovery Monitor patient vitals and provide attentive nursing care throughout hospitalization Practice low-stress patient handling techniques whenever possible Educate clients about medications, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and preventive care Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Keep treatment and exam areas clean, organized, and well stocked Collaborate with the entire hospital team to provide exceptional patient care and client service What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory procedures Confidence assisting with surgery and dentistry Knowledge of preventive care, vaccines, and patient nursing Strong communication and client education skillsAbility to multitask while maintaining exceptional attention to detail A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-first mentality Passion for continuing education and professional growth Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and customer service The Extras You’ll Actually Feel A team that supports your success and celebrates your accomplishments Leaders who genuinely appreciate your contributions Opportunities to expand your skills and advance your career Flexibility that supports a healthy work-life balance A workplace where being yourself isn't just accepted—it's encouraged Plenty of puppy kisses, kitty headbutts, laughter, and the occasional midday dance party Financial Benefits A flexible approach to compensation that reflects your skill set and future performance 401(k) matching & Roth Retirement Savings Plan Flexible Spending Account (full-time only) 529 Savings Plan Tuition Support Program (full-time only) Referral bonus program Wellness Benefits Health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision (full-time only) Supplemental insurance, including accident, critical illness, hospital, short- and long-term disability, legal plan, and employee, spouse, and child-dependent life insurance (full-time only) Up to three weeks of full pay for the birth or adoption of a child (full-time employees only; available after one year of service).
