You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Planning, coordinating, and solving complex and difficult mechanical systems / subsystems (specifically landing gear) issues requiring substantial analysis and evaluation of root causes, effects and alternatives, hazard and safety of flight assessments and airworthiness considerations; and 2) Conducting state of the art engineering analyses to provide substantiated and documented support for in-service engineering actions, including repair, overhaul, modification, operation, maintenance, manufacture, and to improve reliability, maintainability and safety.
